Job summary

SERVPRO Team MLR is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Customer Intake and Dispatch Coordinator to support Metairie restoration operations. You will be the first voice customers hear when reporting property damage, handling calls, collecting loss information, and connecting opportunities with the right team.

Regular in-office attendance is essential as this role requires immediate communication, warm transfers, and collaboration with mitigation, reconstruction, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent phone etiquette and clear communication.
• Strong data-entry and administrative skills with accuracy and urgency.
• Ability to work on-site during assigned hours.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer, referral, and First Notice of Loss calls promptly and professionally.
• Gather complete loss details and enter new leads, customer information, and notes into systems.
• Assess call urgency and dispatch to the appropriate team (mitigation, reconstruction, commercial, or operations).
• Facilitate warm call transfers and locate the correct team member when needed.
• Notify team members of urgent losses and confirm referrals are received.
• Monitor leads and follow up to ensure timely acknowledgment and action.
• Provide updates to customers and referral partners and route questions appropriately.
• Escalate delays, concerns, and unresolved referrals to management.
• Maintain accurate call, dispatch, lead, and follow-up records.
• Support on-call schedules, team availability, job tracking, and general admin tasks.
