Job summary

Openwork is seeking a dependable Crew Chief to lead restoration projects for residential and commercial properties in McDonough, GA. You will oversee crews, coordinate daily activities, and ensure safety and quality while communicating with homeowners and insurers.

We offer full-time employment with on-call requirements, a starting pay of $20+ per hour (based on experience), and opportunities for training and career growth within a 50+ year-old staffing company.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership or supervisory experience in restoration or related field.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required.
• Ability to lift and work in physically demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise restoration crews on water, fire, mold, and other property damage projects.
• Coordinate daily job activities and ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Set up and monitor restoration equipment, including air movers and dehumidifiers.
• Train, coach, and support field technicians while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, business owners, and insurance representatives.
• Document job progress, complete project records, and maintain quality standards.
• Ensure exceptional customer service from start to finish.
