Job summary

Jobtailor in Illinois is seeking a restoration technician to perform planting, seeding, erosion control, brush cutting, and herbicide application in stream, prairie, and woodland areas within an hour of our office. You will work with senior ecologists on municipal, subdivision, and private projects.

Candidates must be able to lift 35-50 lbs, be willing to work outside, and have a valid driver's license. A natural resources degree and the ability to obtain a herbicide license within 30 days are

Responsibilities

• Complete restoration work in stream, prairie, and woodland areas.
• Perform planting, seeding, erosion control, brush cutting, and herbicide application.
• Assist with stream restoration and detention basin retrofit construction projects.
• Complete work for municipalities, subdivisions, and private clients.
• Work directly with senior ecologists.
