Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration is seeking an entry-level superintendent to support residential and light commercial restoration/construction projects. The role emphasizes training progress through BELFOR tracks and internal tenure, with opportunities to advance within the Project Manager path.

Responsibilities include supervising crews, managing scope and schedules, ensuring safety and quality, and maintaining client communication. External experience in restoration or construction is welcome.

Qualifications

• IICRC ASD designation for Water Damage work.
• Completion of BELFOR required New Hire Coursework.
• Forklift operation certification (Hi-Lo).
• 18 months of experience as Intermediate Water Damage/Carpentry/Fire Damage, or equivalent industry exp.
• Valid motor vehicle operator per BELFOR policy.
• English literacy and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Know program requirements and Xactimate estimates and budgets.
• Oversee construction or restoration scope, schedules, safety, and QC.
• Develop core project management capabilities: time, budget, scheduling, site supervision, communication.
• Advance knowledge of current and past construction practices.
• Document progress, notify managers of challenges, provide field logs and sketches.
• Supervise multiple crews and coordinate with customers.
