Job summary

Gerber Construction's Restoration team seeks a skilled Restoration Concrete Finisher to restore, resurfacing, and finish concrete in heavy civil, commercial and residential settings. You will patch, grind, polish, seal, and apply coatings, and read blueprints to meet project specifications.

This role requires reliability, physical stamina, and the ability to travel to job sites across Utah, working safely and with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in concrete finishing, preferably restoration work.
• Familiar with surface preparation, epoxy coatings, and repair methods.
• Able to work in various weather and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete surface preparation including chipping, grinding, and cleaning.
• Repair damaged concrete using appropriate patching techniques and materials.
• Apply overlays, coatings, sealers, and decorative finishes as specified.
• Use power tools such as grinders, clarifiers, and polishers safely and effectively.
• Ensure finished concrete surfaces meet project specifications and customer expectations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or project plans.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure worksite cleanliness and organization.
• Coordinate with team members, supervisors, and other trades on-site.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
