Job summary

Voda Cleaning & Restoration is seeking a technician to support carpet and floor cleaning, restoration services, and documentation for customer jobs. The role involves operating cleaning equipment, communicating with clients, and maintaining tools and logs.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver’s license, basic math and computer skills, and experience in cleaning. IICRC certifications and CCT are preferred, with opportunities to advance into advanced restoration techs.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license with no accidents/tickets in last 3 years.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Adequate math skills to determine equipment type and units.
• Basic email and portable device reporting for daily activity.
• 1 year floor cleaning experience preferred; specialization accepted.
• IICRC certifications are highly desired.
• CCT certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpet and floor cleaning and restoration services.
• Complete cleaning/restoration documentation and authorizations.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Perform basic equipment and vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect finished work and maintain tool stock on company vehicles.
• Learn and work with new equipment and technology.
• Maintain daily logs and work orders.

Cleaning And Restoration Technician Qualifications And Experience Cleaning and Restoration Technician Responsibilities This is a great opportunity for someone to join a company at the ground level and enjoy the benefits of rapid expansion.

Must have Valid Drivers License with no accidents, tickets, DUI last 3 years

Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED).

Mathematical Skills: Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.

Computer Skills: Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.

1 year of floor cleaning experience preferred, and/or some form of specialty cleaning (i.e. Stripping & Waxing Commercial Space Flooring, Air Duct Cleaning, Tile and Grout Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, etc.)

Highly Desired Certificates from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC)

• Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT)* preferred but not required

• Effectively perform Carpet & Floor Cleaning and Restoration services the company offers (Opportunities exist to earn Mold Mitigation; Fire & Water Damage Restoration certifications and experience quickly). (Note: Compensation levels will reflect the experience level of the technician. Hourly rate increases as experience and certifications are gained in water mitigation, mold, trauma scene, and asbestos certifications are added. Commissions are possible on top of hourly rate)
• Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect completed work.
• Complete the technician’s daily log.
• Complete Work Orders.
• Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
• Maintain inventory of related supplies.
• Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
