Restoration Assistant Project Manager – Cotton Holdings Inc.

Compensation: $35.00 / hour

Summary (Scope of the Job)

Assist with the direction and coordination of a project, including performance, administration, documentation, and customer contact. Communicate with the PM daily on the project to ensure a smooth operation. Adhere to company protocols, project policies, accounting procedures, and maintain high service quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with operations daily to ensure projects run smoothly.
• Keep customers and insurance adjusters up to date on all project activities; adhere to company protocols, project and safety policies, accounting procedures, etc.
• Ensure the service quality meets the company’s highest standards.
• Maintain a project budget to ensure profitability.
• Perform work within a given budget or communicate the job from beginning to end.
• Assist in developing a Site Safety Plan for the Field Supervisor and labor.
• Keep client and adjuster informed to promote good customer service.
• Ensure job files have properly signed contracts and required forms.
• Process files promptly to ensure accurate accounting.
• Complete/draft Project Management Reviews daily for the job file.
• Conduct Safety Toolbox meetings.
• Participate in safety investigations to minimize risk.
• Provide feedback to Operations and Project Managers regarding individual jobs as needed.
• Maintain open communication and networking with adjusters, insurance community, and assigned target businesses.
• Maintain the highest integrity to ensure Cotton’s image is viewed positively.
• Hire subcontractors and suppliers.
• Direct daily activities on restoration projects.
• Meet client and adjuster needs and requests.
• Resolve conflicts with customers.
• Manage operation staff performance and change of scope.
• Understand workflow procedures and systems.

Background Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

• Restoration project knowledge REQUIRED.
• IICRC Certified – PREFERRED.
• OSHA 10 or 30‑hour a plus.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of workflow procedures and systems.
• Knowledge of the insurance industry a plus.
• Computer proficiency and Microsoft Office applications.
• Proven organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build relationships.
• Ability to travel as business needs arise – REQUIRED.
• Good driving record: minimum of 21 years of age, 3 years verifiable driving experience, no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years, no repeat seat belt violations, no high‑speed moving violations.
