Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa in Lahaina seeks an energetic Restaurant Wait help team member to support food and beverage service in both our restaurant and poolside dining. This cross-functional role requires flexibility to work in either setting based on needs.

Umalu is seeking an energetic, guest-focused Restaurant Wait help team member to support food and beverage service in both our restaurant and poolside dining. This cross-functional position requires flexibility and versatility, as team members will be scheduled and expected to work in either location based on operational needs.

Restaurant Wait help colleagues are responsible for submitting guest menu selections, presenting food and beverage offerings, and creating memorable dining experiences through attentive and personalized service. The ideal candidate will gain extensive menu knowledge, confidently provide recommendations, engage guests in friendly conversation, and contribute to the welcoming atmosphere that defines the Umalu experience.

Hourly rate: $16.00/hour

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant server, wait help, food runner, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Must be able and willing to work in both restaurant and poolside service capacities.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including varying weather conditions.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• TB Testing clearance required
