Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Restaurant Team Member to join our fast-paced, guest-focused team. In this role, you’ll rotate through Fountain & Frozen, Food Production, Grill, Fryer and Drive-Thru, delivering friendly service and quality food to every guest.

The position offers flexible hours and opportunities to learn multiple stations, with a focus on teamwork, cleanliness, and maintaining Sonic’s high standards of food safety and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays
• Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills
• Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards

Responsibilities

• Taking orders and making accurate change quickly
• Providing food service to guests with enthusiasm
• Packaging all menu items and checking for product quality and consistency
• Preparing drinks and ice cream treats
• Preparing food orders, cooking on the grill, operating the fry station as needed
• Cleaning the drive-in restaurants - including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping counters and sanitizing food areas
