Job summary

Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores is hiring restaurant cashiers to deliver fast, friendly service in a high-volume setting. You will handle orders, process payments, and maintain a clean prep area while following food-safety standards.

No experience is required; training is provided to get you up to speed and ready to join a positive, team-focused culture with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Willingness to learn and cross-train in different roles.

Responsibilities

• Take customer food orders and answer questions about menu offerings.
• Balance cash register and upsell additional items to customers.
• Prepare customer orders accurately at different kitchen stations (sandwich, fry, grill).
• Maintain proper food safety and sanitation practices within the restaurant.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed (Store Cashier, Fresh Kitchen, Maintenance).
• Move and lift 25+ pounds; work in various temperatures.
