  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a 1 to 2-year program, or equivalent experience.
  • Work setting: Restaurant
  • Tasks:
    1. Establish methods to meet work schedules.
    2. Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
    3. Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
    4. Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
    5. Ensure food and service meet quality control standards.
    6. Address customers' complaints or concerns.
    7. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    8. Prepare and submit reports.
    9. Establish work schedules.
  • Security and safety: Criminal record check.
  • Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 2 years.
