Job summary

Tumble Brook Country Club in Bloomfield, CT seeks a Restaurant Supervisor to lead daily service in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting as part of Troon’s hospitality team. You’ll supervise staff, coordinate seating, maintain clean facilities, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering memorable experiences for members and guests.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience; state alcohol service age rules apply.

Responsibilities

• Ensures guests are attended to promptly, efficiently and personally.
• Keeps restaurant and facilities clean, well-stocked and organized.
• Monitors equipment maintenance and reports needs to management.
• Completes side work and cleaning of equipment/storage areas.
• Assists with pre-shift meetings to review specials and menu changes.
• Performs daily duties: seating guests, serving tables, bussing tables, and clerical tasks.

Key Responsibilities of the Restaurant Supervisor

• Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient, and personalized manner.
• Ensures that the restaurant and restaurant facilities are kept clean, well-stocked and organized.
• Checks the maintenance of all equipment in the restaurant and notifies Management of needed maintenance and repair.
• Assures all side work is completed, including all cleaning of equipment and storage areas.
• Assists with conducting pre-shift meetings to review specials, menu changes and house counts.
• Performs daily activities to include: seating guests, serving tables, bussing tables, general clerical/cashier duties, etc.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, and 1 year of related experience.
• Must be able to meet state age requirement to serve alcohol.

Other Qualifications

• Previous golf course and/or club experience is a plus.
• Great Verbal and Written communication skills.
• Alcohol Awareness Training, Food Safety Training.
