Become part of the team at Drummond Island Resort and Conference Center. This 2,200-acre Resort offers hotel and cabin rentals, The Rock Golf Course, Turtle Ridge off road park, the Cedar clay and skeet range, DIR Paintball course, as well as kayak and canoe rentals and much more. Located on Resort property are two restaurants and banquet spaces.

We are looking for seasonal full-time and part-time, driven, hardworking, dependable employees to work in casual restaurants and in our event spaces. This is a seasonal opportunity with positions available May through mid-October 2025.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing quick and efficient serving
  • Be able to use Point of Sale system
  • Make suggestions based on their preferences
  • Up sell when it is appropriate
  • Arrange table settings for dinner service as well as banquets
  • Always keep tables clean and tidy
  • Deliver checks and collect payment
  • Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
  • Be willing to help in other food and beverage department jobs if needed
  • Adhere to all relevant health department rules and regulations
  • Have an upbeat and charming personality.
  • Knowledge of bartending and wine service preferred, but not necessary.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, stretch, and lift. Carry up to 50lbs short distances.
  • Keep restaurant clean and tidy including the restrooms

No experience necessary. On-the-job training with the F&B manager. Multiple positions available: Server, Bartender, Banquet Server, Banquet Bartender, and Beverage Cart Bartender.

Hourly pay $6.00 per hour plus tips. Housing is available. Resort staff enjoy discounts property wide.
