Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops in Indiana is seeking Restaurant Shift Leaders to help run a busy kitchen and dining area. You will lead staff, ensure food safety, and execute strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.

You will coach team members, manage ordering, inventory, and daily reporting, and maintain cleanliness and equipment. Love’s offers tuition assistance, benefits, a quarterly bonus program, and competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, with proper food safety procedures.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, safety practices, scheduling, cash integrity, and reporting.
• Coach and develop team members to prepare and package orders timely and meet customer service expectations.
• Oversee dining room cleanliness and food prep areas.
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is properly maintained.

Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
• Assist the General Manager of the facility with proper task execution and completion, follow effective safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Work alongside team members to coach and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to maximize customer service expectations
• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas,
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is property maintained
