Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring a Restaurant Shift Leader to help manage daily restaurant operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will coach staff, streamline processes, and execute strategies to boost sales and satisfaction.

With opportunity as a key benefit, you’ll work in a dynamic team environment at our Pennsylvania/Indiana locations. The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and accurate reporting while supporting the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant or fast-paced service environments preferred.
• Ability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Physically able to lift and move items over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean kitchen and adherence to food safety procedures.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory, and prep.
• Assist General Manager with task execution, safety practices, and reporting.
• Coach and develop team members to prepare and package orders promptly.
• Maintain dining area cleanliness and proper equipment maintenance.

Restaurant Shift Leaders play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant. You will assist in leading staff to provide exceptional customer service, managing processes, and executing strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
• Assist the General Manager of the facility with proper task execution and completion, follow effective safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Work alongside team members to coach and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to maximize customer service expectations
• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas,
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is property maintained

Skills and Demands:

• Ability to work various shifts
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more
