Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to help lead staff, ensure smooth operations, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will manage processes, execute strategies to boost sales and guest satisfaction, and support daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and efficient kitchen and dining room management within a dynamic restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work various shifts.

• Ability to frequently lift/move items 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen staff to ensure safe, clean operations and food safety.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory, and prep.
• Support the General Manager with tasks, safety, and reporting.
• Coach team to prepare and package customer orders promptly.
• Oversee dining room cleanliness and food prep areas.
• Maintain restaurant equipment in proper working order.

You will assist in leading staff to provide exceptional customer service, managing processes, and executing strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. Job Functions

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
• Assist the General Manager of the facility with proper task execution and completion, follow effective safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Work alongside team members to coach and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to maximize customer service expectations
• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas,
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is property maintained

Skills and Demands

• Ability to work various shifts
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more
