Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to help lead staff, ensure smooth restaurant operations, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will manage processes, assist in executing strategies to boost sales and satisfaction, and develop team members in a dynamic environment.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and accuracy in daily tasks, with opportunities to grow within a well-known modular travel stop network. Prior experience in a fast-paced restaurant is valued.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean kitchen and follow food safety procedures.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management and food prep.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, safety practices, scheduling, cash handling, and reporting.
• Coach and develop team members in preparing and packaging orders to meet customer expectations.
• Oversee dining room cleanliness and food preparation areas.
• Ensure restaurant equipment is properly maintained.

You will assist in leading staff to provide exceptional customer service, managing processes, and executing strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
• Assist the General Manager of the facility with proper task execution and completion, follow effective safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Work alongside team members to coach and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to maximize customer service expectations
• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas,
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is property maintained

Skills and Demands:

• Ability to work various shifts
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more
