Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to help guide staff, ensure smooth operations, and deliver exceptional customer service at our Dunn, NC location. You will manage processes, oversee kitchen and dining areas, and assist the General Manager with scheduling, reporting, and cash integrity to drive sales and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to work various shifts.
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
• Assist the General Manager of the facility with proper task execution, safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, and daily/weekly/monthly reporting
• Coach and develop staff in preparing and packaging customer orders promptly to maximize service
• Oversee the cleanliness of dining and prep areas,
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is properly maintained
