Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to help drive smooth operation, lead staff, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will assist in guiding the team, managing processes, and executing sales strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.

• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory, and prep.
• Assist the General Manager with scheduling, cash handling, and reporting.
• Coach team to prepare and package orders promptly and accurately.
• Oversee dining room cleanliness and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen with food safety adherence.
• Drive sales by efficient ordering, stocking, inventory, and prep.
• Assist the General Manager with scheduling, cash integrity, and daily/weekly reporting.
• Coach team members to prepare and package orders promptly and to meet service standards.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and proper food preparation areas.
• Ensure restaurant equipment is properly maintained.

Restaurant Shift Leaders play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant. You will assist in leading staff to provide exceptional customer service, managing processes, and executing strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
• Assist the General Manager of the facility with proper task execution and completion, follow effective safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Work alongside team members to coach and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to maximize customer service expectations
• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas,
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is property maintained

Skills and Demands:

• Ability to work various shifts
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more
