Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores in Georgia is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to help manage staff, ensure safe food preparation, and drive sales through efficient ordering and service.

You will work with the General Manager on scheduling, cash handling, and daily reporting, while coaching teammates to deliver outstanding customer service and accurate order packaging.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, safety practices, scheduling, cash integrity, and reporting
• Coach and develop team members to prepare and package orders promptly and maximize customer service
• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is properly maintained

You will assist in leading staff to provide exceptional customer service, managing processes, and executing strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
• Assist the General Manager of the facility with proper task execution and completion, follow effective safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Work alongside team members to coach and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to maximize customer service expectations
• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas,
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is property maintained

Skills and Demands:

• Ability to work various shifts
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more
