Love's Travel Stops in Oregon is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to guide staff, ensure food safety, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will drive sales, manage orders, inventory, and food prep, while supporting the General Manager with daily reporting and scheduling.

This role emphasizes coaching teammates, maintaining dining area cleanliness, and ensuring equipment is properly serviced in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift/move items over 50 pounds as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen and dining area adhering to food safety procedures.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food prep.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, safety, scheduling, cash integrity, and reporting.
• Coach and develop team members to prepare and pack customer orders promptly and accurately.
• Oversee dining room cleanliness and proper maintenance of equipment.

You will assist in leading staff to provide exceptional customer service, managing processes, and executing strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
• Assist the General Manager of the facility with proper task execution and completion, follow effective safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Work alongside team members to coach and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to maximize customer service expectations
• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas,
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is property maintained

Skills and Demands:

• Ability to work various shifts
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more
