Love's Travel Stops in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to help run the kitchen and dining area, lead a team, and deliver friendly, efficient service.

You will manage daily operations, assist the General Manager with tasks and reporting, coach staff, ensure food safety and cleanliness, and help drive sales through quality service.

Qualificações

• Experience leading a restaurant team or shift leadership.
• Proficiency with basic computer apps for reporting and communication.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move items as part of the role.
• Flexible to work various shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, adhering to food safety procedures.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory, and food prep.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, safety practices, scheduling and reporting.
• Coach and develop staff to prepare and package orders promptly.
• Oversee dining room cleanliness and equipment maintenance.

Restaurant Shift Leaders play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant. You will assist in leading staff to provide exceptional customer service, managing processes, and executing strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
• Assist the General Manager of the facility with proper task execution and completion, follow effective safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Work alongside team members to coach and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to maximize customer service expectations
• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas,
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is property maintained

Skills and Demands:

• Ability to work various shifts
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more
