Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to help manage daily kitchen and dining room operations, coach team members, and drive sales while delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.

You will partner with the General Manager to uphold food safety, supervise ordering and inventory, ensure timely food preparation, schedule staff, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting—creating a welcoming, efficient operation that supports growth and customer

Qualifications

• Ability to work various shifts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer focus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen and dining area with proper food safety procedures.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, safety practices, scheduling, cash integrity, and reporting.
• Coach and develop team members in preparing and packaging customer orders promptly to meet expectations.
• Oversee dining room cleanliness and proper maintenance of restaurant equipment.

Restaurant Shift Leaders play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant. You will assist in leading staff to provide exceptional customer service, managing processes, and executing strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures

• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation

• Assist the General Manager of the facility with proper task execution and completion, follow effective safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting

• Work alongside team members to coach and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to maximize customer service expectations

• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas,
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is property maintained

Skills and Demands:

• Ability to work various shifts

• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail

• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more
