Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to help run the dining area and kitchen with focus on safety, speed, and service. You will guide staff, ensure tasks are completed, and support the General Manager with daily operations in a fast-paced retail restaurant environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and delivering great customer experiences across all shifts, with opportunities for growth within a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Ability to work various shifts.
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
• Assist the General Manager of the facility with proper task execution, follow effective safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Work alongside team members to coach and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to maximize customer service expectations
• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is properly maintained
