Job summary

Hoogland Restaurant Group, owner of Marco's Pizza locations across the US, is hiring a shift leader to guide team members, uphold pizza and sub quality, deliver great guest service, and drive sales while controlling labor and costs.

Open to motivated individuals 18+, eager to train, and grow with a company planning expansion to 30 new stores in coming years; full training and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead a team to deliver high-quality service and products.
• Strong guest service focus and problem-solving skills.
• Able to train and develop team members on policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Open and close shifts with minimal supervision.
• Ensure product quality, service speed, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Delegate duties and manage all positions per shift.
• Control costs, labor, waste, and cash while leading shifts.
• Handle deposits and daily cash with accuracy.

As the shift leader, you will lead people, ensure we execute outstanding product quality and customer service, build sales and control costs for the restaurant.

People

• Demonstrate and reinforce Marco's leadership behaviors and values.
• Create an environment that promotes the company culture and philosophies to attract, retain and develop our people.
• Train team members on company processes, customer service, and updated policies and procedures to ensure we are a world class operation.

Sales and Product

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Manage and organize all positions each shift and delegates duties to team members.
• Support production as needed.
• Support local store marketing and promotions.

Leadership

• Open and close shifts without supervision.
• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure proper security and verification procedures are met when handling deposits and the contents of the safe.
• Deliver great guest service every time and resolve customer complaints and issues as they arise.
• Control food costs, labor, waste, and cash while leading shifts.
• Responsible for accurate daily deposits and cash handling procedures.
