McAlister’s Deli in Roanoke, VA is seeking an hourly Team Member to perform a variety of dining room and kitchen duties. The role involves food running, bussing, dishwashing, prep work, and line cooking in a franchised restaurant environment.

The candidate will follow sanitation and safety policies, assist with setting and cleaning tables, restock as needed, and support management to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to guests in the dining room and ensure they have what they need.
• Refill drinks and respond to guest requests after the food has been delivered.
• Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
• Prepare dining room for guests by cleaning tables and chairs.
• Maintain table setting by removing plates as completed and being alert to guest spills or other special needs.
• Maintains dining room by cleaning chairs and tables, sweeping floors and removing trash, and cleaning up spills.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and flatware to ensure availability of clean dishes.
• Prepare foods for cooking based on prep lists and manager directions.
• Read food orders and/or receives verbal instructions and prepare orders quickly and accurately.
