Essential Job Functions

This summary outlines primary responsibilities and qualifications. The hotel operates 24/7, so shifts may vary.

1. Greet guests warmly and explain specials and promotions.
2. Check station setup and cleanliness before, during, and after shifts.
3. Record and repeat guest orders for accuracy.
4. Input orders into the POS system for kitchen processing.
5. Retrieve and confirm order accuracy with the kitchen, then deliver to guests with condiments.
6. Follow all liquor regulations regarding minors and intoxicated guests.
7. Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
8. Market and serve desserts or specialty coffees upon request.
9. Assist in clearing and resetting tables.
10. Perform side work such as replenishing condiments and restocking supplies.
11. Complete cleaning tasks using standard products to meet health standards.
12. Present checks promptly.
13. Adhere to company policies, safety, and security procedures.
14. Know fire prevention and emergency procedures.
15. Use protective equipment and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
16. Maintain a neat, clean, and groomed appearance as per the handbook.
17. Perform additional duties as assigned and assist team members as needed.
