Description

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensure station cleanliness and proper setup before, during, and after shifts.
  • Greet guests courteously, explain specials and promotions.
  • Take and repeat orders for accuracy, input into POS system.
  • Retrieve, confirm, and deliver food orders, along with condiments.
  • Follow all legal requirements for serving alcohol.
  • Replenish beverages, check guest satisfaction.
  • Market and serve desserts or specialty coffees upon request.
  • Use POS system for transactions and closing checks.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
  • Clear, bus, and reset tables efficiently.
  • Follow cash handling policies and present checks promptly.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel environment.
  • Contribute to a positive, energetic team environment.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and be available for scheduled shifts.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Supportive Functions:

  • Assist in food preparation and service.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the outlet.
  • Participate in side work and special projects.

Required Licenses, Permits, or Certifications:

  • Oregon Liquor Control Commission Server’s Permit (must obtain prior to employment).
