Job summary

Margaritaville Lake Resort Osage Beach MO is seeking energetic restaurant servers to deliver fun, friendly service in a family-friendly atmosphere.

Join our JB's Boathouse team to take orders, explain menus, and ensure guest satisfaction while working breakfast shifts. We offer competitive tips with a base pay of $7.50 per hour, plus benefits, and a welcoming team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates and vendors.
• Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and Margaritaville Lake Resort policies and procedures.
• Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally and with care.
• Adheres to uniform, grooming and appearance standards and maintains a positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Take guests' orders and answer questions about the menu as needed.
• Explain menu items and daily specials and advise on options for dietary requirements.
• Greet guests at the table and introduce yourself.
• Take orders accurately and communicate to the kitchen promptly using the Micros system.
• Enter tickets in the Micros system accurately and promptly.
• Check on guests, maintain a positive can-do attitude and ensure guests have everything they need.
• Provide guests with high-quality service in a warm and friendly manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area; know food and beverage preparation basics.
• Ensure service area is cleared and equipment is stored properly after meals.
• Greet guests on arrival and thank them at departure; relay guest feedback to management.
• Notify supervisor of any broken or damaged equipment and uphold resort standards.

Breakfast Shifts are 6:00 am - 2:00 pm

As a Restaurant Server, you will take the guests’ orders and answer questions about the menu as needed, maintaining the fun, upbeat culture of the restaurant in your communication with the guests.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure all details are followed according to supervisor’s instructions.
• Greet guests at the table and introduce yourself.
• Explain menu items and daily specials and be able to advise on options for special dietary requirements.
• Take orders accurately and communicate orders to the kitchen promptly using the systems in place.
• Enter tickets in the Micros system accurately and promptly.
• Check on guests at the table, maintaining a positive can-do attitude and ensuring the guests have everything they need.
• Provide guests with the finest quality of service at all times in a warm and friendly manner.
• Ensure the work area is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Have a thorough knowledge of restaurant food and beverage preparation.
• Ensure service area is cleared and thoroughly cleaned at the conclusion of the recent meal period. All equipment must be stored in the designated area.
• Maintain constant presence in room; greet guests upon arrival and thank them for coming upon their departure.
• Communicate guest compliments/complaints to management.
• Notify supervisor of any broken or damaged equipment.
• Maintain Driftwood and resort & restaurant standards of food, beverage, and quality guest service.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum lifting/pulling of 40 pounds.
• Being on feet for an entire shift, possibly 8 hours or more.
