Job summary

Havasu Landing Casino & Hotel is seeking a Restaurant Server for the Lake Havasu area. The role is part-time with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour and reports to the Food & Beverage Director in the Restaurant department. Indian Preference policy applies.

Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and qualify for a gaming license. The position requires standing, mobility, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with prior server experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers in a timely, courteous and professional manner.
• Inform customers of specials and answer questions about food, beverages and service.
• Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure customer satisfaction and proper presentation.
• Serve courses promptly and handle payments at the end of the meal.
• Assist with stocking and table resets; maintain cleanliness.

POSITION: SERVER
DEPARTMENT: RESTAURANT
REPORTS TO: FOOD & BEVERAGE DIRECTOR
PAY RATE: $15.00/HOUR

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must pass pre-employment drug test and qualify for a gaming license
• Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to four hours
• Good coordination; be able to bend, kneel and have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must have prior experience as a Food Server/Waiter/Waitress
• Good people skills, customer driven, sense customer needs, promote positive dining experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for greeting and serving customers in a timely, courteous and professional manner
• Inform customers of specials, making suggestions and answering questions regarding food, beverages and service
• Solicit food and beverage orders from customers and relay orders to culinary and beverage staff
• Communicate with culinary and beverage staff and coordinate the entire station to ensure customer satisfaction
• Serve courses promptly while ensuring the proper presentation
• Monitor diners to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded and accommodate any additional requests
• Total guest check, refer customers to the cashier, or process payment for the customer
• Assist with stocking workstation, removing soiled dishes and resetting tables
• All duties as assigned
