Position Overview

This role involves preparing and serving food and beverages in a friendly, professional manner, adhering to health and liquor laws, and providing exceptional guest service to create an inviting atmosphere. Compliance with company standards and guest satisfaction are priorities.

Schedule & Compensation

This is an evening (PM) tipped position with fluctuating days off based on business needs. Starting pay is $11 per hour.

Responsibilities
  1. Guest Service: Respond promptly and courteously to guest needs, provide high-quality service, and follow the company's guest service recovery protocols.
  2. Serving Duties: Take accurate orders, upsell menu items, follow health and alcohol laws, and handle POS transactions properly.
  3. Side Work: Complete cleaning, stocking, and maintenance tasks as required.
  4. Expense Control: Follow procedures for cash handling and equipment use to minimize waste and reduce costs.
  5. Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, follow emergency procedures, and comply with all regulations.
  6. Self-Management: Organize workload efficiently, adhere to attendance, grooming, and work policies, and participate in meetings.
  7. Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues, assist in various roles, and support overall guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Certification in TIPS or CARE preferred or required upon hiring.
  • At least 1 year of guest service experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in English (speaking, understanding, writing).
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and perform demanding physical tasks.
  • Previous restaurant serving experience is a plus.
