Job summary

DelMonte Hotel Group in Rochester, NY is seeking a Restaurant Server Assistant to support Restaurant Servers, maintain dining room cleanliness, and ensure a welcoming guest experience. This on-site role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and strong communication to help deliver courteous service.

You will deliver food, reset tables, polish silverware, keep floors clean, and learn current menus. Compensation starts at $10.70 per hour plus tips, with comprehensive benefits for full-time positions

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room and service areas while assisting Restaurant Servers
• Familiarize and be knowledgeable of table and seat numbers in the restaurant
• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests as needed
• Clear, clean and reset tables for dining, i.e. wipe table tops and chairs with damp cloth, replace soiled table linens, silverware and glassware
• Polish silverware and glassware
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen
• Serve water
• Familiarize and be knowledgeable of current food and beverage offerings
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the Restaurant and surrounding areas
