Job summary

Doliver of Tanglewood is seeking friendly servers to deliver exceptional dining experiences in our independent living and memory care community. You will greet residents, take orders, serve meals, and help maintain a welcoming environment during events.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED, 6 months to 1 year of experience, and be willing to obtain a state-approved food handler certification within 60 days. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Accredited food handler certification within 60 days per state guidelines.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service attitude and ability to interact with residents and guests.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the dining room is spotless and beautifully set for meals and events.
• Greet residents and guests with a smile and seat them comfortably.
• Take food orders, relay to kitchen, and deliver meals promptly.
• Ensure order accuracy and check food quality and presentation.
• Respond promptly to residents and guest requests to ensure a top-notch experience.
• Pour drinks and refill as needed with timely service.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with setting tables, clearing dishes, and restocking inventory.
• Maintain professional appearance and hygiene per policy.
• Participate in required in-service trainings and safety drills.

$750 Sign on Bonus! ($375 after 30 days of employment, $375 after 60 days of employment)

Location: The Doliver of Tanglewood, an Independent Living, Assisted Living with Memory Care Community

Pay Rate: Depends on experience

Schedule

• 5 days on 2 days off
• Evening Shift Available
• Weekend Shift (12 hours) Available

Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the dining room is spotless and beautifully set for all meals and events.
• Greet all residents and guests with a smile, ensuring everyone has a comfortable place to sit.
• Take food orders, present them to kitchen staff, and deliver meals promptly and efficiently.
• Guarantee the accuracy of orders and check food quality and presentation.
• Respond swiftly to resident and guest requests, ensuring their dining experience is top-notch.
• Ensure drinks are poured and refilled in a timely manner.
• Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards meticulously.
• Assist with setting tables, removing dirty dishes, disposing of waste, and restocking inventory.
• Remove all walkers from the dining room to ensure safety and return them immediately after meals.
• Make each resident and guest feel special, showing genuine pleasure in serving them.
• Understand the menu fully and be able to explain the selections to residents and guests.
• Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
• Attend all required in-service training sessions.
• Be an active member of the community’s emergency response team.
• Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene per company policies.
• Take on additional responsibilities with enthusiasm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
