Summary of Position

Provides friendly and efficient service in a timely manner to guests according to company policies, procedures, programs, and performance standards. Shows guests genuine hospitality while providing a memorable experience. Maintains a professional appearance and positive attitude. Performs duties to maximize guest satisfaction and a positive work environment as directed by the Manager on Duty.

Position Activities and Tasks

• Interact with guests courteously and respectfully upon seating and throughout their dining experience.
• Greet guests immediately upon seating with a genuine, non-scripted greeting.
• Use menu knowledge to suggest items, answer questions, and anticipate guests’ needs.
• Deliver hot food promptly, checking for accuracy, appearance, and temperature.
• Provide excellent Perkins service, actively engaging guests and addressing concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, stations, and common areas, following company procedures.
• Attend to guest requests and needs promptly.
• Pre-bus, detail, and keep the dining area and stations clean.
• Perform side work such as restocking and cleaning during downtime.
• Follow the service cycle, communicate with team members and management about issues, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Process orders and operate POS systems accurately.
• Assist team members as needed and maintain cleanliness of all service areas.
• Ensure food is served hot and maintain overall restaurant cleanliness.
