A leading company in the gaming and hospitality industry seeks a Restaurant Server responsible for providing exceptional service in a fast-paced casino environment. Ideal candidates will possess a strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure while adhering to established standards and regulations.
The Restaurant Server will sell and serve food and drinks in a friendly and professional manner to the casino customers. This position will perform other tasks such as but not limited to handling cash, taking orders, delivering orders, cleaning work areas, stocking product and counting inventory. The Waiter/Waitress shall perform all functions in accordance with applicable laws and gaming regulations, as well as established policies and procedures of the department as well as the Casino.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required. The ability to read English and understand either written or verbal instructions. Prior restaurant experience helpful.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret the policies and procedures of the department and Casino. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, management, team members and/or the Gaming Commission.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables. Exhibits a cooperative demeanor when interacting with peers, supervisors and customers.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

May be required to lift trash receptacles in order to properly clean and/or empty them. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
