The Restaurant Server is responsible for providing high-quality service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. Responsibilities include receiving and delivering guest orders, collecting payments, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.

- Attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous interaction with guests, managers, and colleagues.
- Familiarity with restaurant organization, menus, specials, and the function of each job position.
- Service of food and beverages in an attentive and courteous manner.
- Pre-bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness.
- Operation of the P.O.S system and cashiering functions.
- Performing opening, closing, and side-work duties as per standards.
- Keeping tables and service areas stocked, tidy, and clean.
- Maintaining beverage levels and tray breakdowns.
- Answering phones professionally.
- Upselling food, beverages, and promotions.
- Knowing fire extinguisher locations and usage.
- Handling orders, payments, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Flexibility for long and variable hours.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
- Ability to stand throughout the shift and maneuver while carrying trays.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle guest and employee concerns.
- Attend all required meetings and trainings.
- Maintain personal appearance and grooming standards.
- Comply with hotel standards, safety, and operational procedures.
- Show initiative, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills.
- Cross-train in other hotel areas as needed.
