Job summary

The Scarlet, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking an energetic Server to deliver memorable dining experiences. You will greet guests, explain menu options, take orders with accuracy, and coordinate with kitchen and bar to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Six months to one year serving experience preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Read, write and speak English fluently
• Flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Guide guests through the menu, providing recommendations and answering questions.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner, ensuring presentation and quality meet our high standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service to enhance their dining experience.
• Clear tables and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
