Job summary

MSU Residential and Hospitality Services at Kellogg Center’s State Room Restaurant is seeking a Restaurant Server to take food and beverage orders, explain menu items, present checks, and cash out guests in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

This on-call/part-time position requires 1–2 years of serving experience, must be 18+ to serve alcohol, be available for lunch, dinner, and weekend shifts, plus all home football and basketball game days; current State Room employee preferred.

Please note that this posting is for graduating students transitioning to an On-Call.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1-2 years serving experience in a full-service restaurant.

Must be 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.

Must be available to work lunch shifts, evenings, and weekends.

Must be available for home football and basketball games

Must be a current state room employee
