Job summary

Auberge du Soleil in Napa Valley is seeking a Restaurant Reservationist to join the Food and Beverage team. You will efficiently receive and record guests' reservations in person, by phone, and into OpenTable, prioritizing guest requests with a gracious touch.

The role requires at least one year in foodservice/hospitality; luxury-setting experience and wine knowledge are preferred. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is essential.

• Receive and record guests' reservations in person, by phone, and in OpenTable.
• Assign reservations according to restaurant knowledge and business flow.
• Ensure menus are up to date and accurately marked as available or not.
• Maintain complete knowledge of the menu and related items.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Description

The Restaurant Reservationist is an integral part of the Food and Beverage team, ensuring a well orchestrated and seamless dining experience. The role involves efficiently receiving and recording guests' restaurant reservations while prioritizing the fulfillment of all requests and needs with a gracious touch.

• Receive and record guests' reservations whether in person, via phone and input them into Open Table ensuring Auberge Resorts Collection standards are met
• Assign reservations according to customer's request and knowledge of the restaurant and flow of business
• Ensure menus are up to date, clean & mark free
• Maintain a complete knowledge of menu and all related menu items
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

The rate for this position is $19.00-20.00/hour. This is the pay rate for this position that Auberge du Soleil reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a luxury setting and good knowledge of food and wine is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
