Costa Vida in Farr West, UT is hiring a Restaurant Prep Cook/Line Cook. This role supports daily kitchen operations, follows prep lists, and ensures Costa Vida recipe standards are met. You will label and stock ingredients, measure portions, and maintain a clean, organized workstation.

The position offers part-time or full-time morning and evening shifts with free meals on every shift. Excellent communication, teamwork, and a positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in food prep or kitchen environments preferred.
• Ability to follow prep lists and Costa Vida standards.
• Strong knowledge of ingredients, recipes, and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Follow prep list to meet Costa Vida recipe standards.
• Label and stock ingredients; keep shelves organized.
• Measure ingredients and seasonings for cooking.
• Prepare ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables and meat.
• Maintain a clean kitchen; wash dishes and sanitize surfaces.
• Work in a fast-paced environment; multitask effectively.
• Communicate clearly with team.

Hourly Wage: $12.00 - $15.00

Prep Cook Responsibilities

• Follow the prep list created to ensure Costa Vida recipe standards are met
• Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
• Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking
• Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out the trash, etc.
• Will work in a fun fast-paced environment
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Good understanding of ingredients, recipes, kitchen safety, and hygiene
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiar with general kitchen equipment and appliances
• Physically able to stand and move around for long periods of time
