Job summary

SpaceXAI in Memphis is hiring a porter for our private campus restaurant. You will interact with guests and staff, restock supplies, and assist with takeout prep, reporting to kitchen management.

The role requires basic food safety, ability to lift up to 45 lbs, long shifts, and availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays. A valid food handler card is preferred; ITAR compliance may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of restaurant, warehouse, or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate sanitation and food safety practices consistently.
• Help evaluate receiving spaces to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow company safety standards and look out for the safety of other team members and guests.
• Coordinate job duties around other team members to help ensure efficient preparation for the opening of service.
• Put food orders away accurately and rotate stock using FIFO while monitoring shelf life and dates.
• Maintain a working knowledge of restaurant equipment and its operation.
