Job Description

• Porters perform various tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety in the business environment. Similar to custodians and janitors, they ensure buildings are neat, clean, clutter-free, and safe. Duties include picking up trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and using industrial cleaning equipment.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 0-6 months' experience in general industry.
Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, work well with management and coworkers, and function in a team environment.
Knowledge: Basic understanding of organizational functions and working practices.
Education: High school diploma/GED or equivalent, or currently attending high school or vocational programs.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently, stand for entire shift, reach, bend, stoop, lift, and push regularly. Must be able to read orders and labels, and frequently contact water and cleaning solutions.
Other: Flexibility to work overtime and coordinate availability with the team. Working conditions should allow for satisfactory job performance.
