Job summary

Kohler Co. is hiring a Restaurant Manager for the Horse & Plow in Kohler, WI. This onsite role oversees all food and beverage operations, drives sales, controls costs, and ensures exceptional guest experiences.

The position requires leadership across front and back-of-house teams, strong P&L capabilities, and compliance with liquor laws. Benefits start day one; salary range listed with potential bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• Ability to understand and positively impact P&L performance, including cost of sales, food costs, inventory control, and safety metrics.
• Ability to lead and manage both front and back of house operations with strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Food Manager Certification and Bartender License required, or the ability to obtain both certifications within the first 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Profitability of the establishment and adherence to budgeted targets.
• Establish cost controls and monitor sales and costs at all levels.
• Inventory control of perishable and non-perishable goods.
• Ensure quality control of standardizing all food and beverage service.
• Maintain cash control policies and POS accuracy.
• Collaborate with the outlet Chef on menu concepts and promotions.
• Develop labor plans and meet government liquor regulations.
