Job summary

Runza® is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee all restaurant operations, ensuring high standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness. The role includes staffing, training, scheduling, and managing costs to drive sales and guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring prior restaurant management experience, strong leadership, and a professional appearance. The position requires availability for nights, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities for growth within Runza®.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient in typical computer software programs (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Proficient in restaurant functions: food planning, purchasing, sanitation, security, policies, reports.
• Must attend and successfully complete Runza University.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make final decisions on important matters.
• Adhere to standards to increase sales and minimize costs.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards and Health Department regulations.
• Maintain professional restaurant image and appearance standards.
• Ensure high quality of food and service consistently.
• Supervise portion control to minimize waste.
• Estimate supplies and place orders with distributors; schedule delivery.
• Track and report inventory per policies.
• Respond to guest complaints to turn dissatisfaction into returns.
