Responsibilities

• Assist GM in all areas of the restaurant including ensuring incoming staff comply with company policy
• Train staff to follow restaurant procedures
• Maintain safety and food quality standards
• Keep customers happy and handle complaints
• Keep track of employees’ hours
• Order food, linens, gloves and other supplies while staying within budget
• Supervise daily shift operations
• Ensure end of day cash outs are correctly completed
• Coordinate daily front- and back-of-house restaurant operations
• Control operational costs and identify ways to cut waste
• Interview/recruit new employees
• Interact with guests to gather feedback on product quality and service
