Job summary

Lou Malnati's Pizzeria in Naperville, IL is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead a diverse team, uphold brand standards, and deliver outstanding guest experiences daily. You will interview, hire, train, and develop team members; schedule staff efficiently; manage budgets and costs; and maintain safety and sanitation in line with company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; bachelor's degree a plus.
• Minimum 2–3 years restaurant experience.
• Read/write English, follow and assign verbal and written instructions and use math.
• Training in all aspects of restaurant/carry out including waiting tables; prep work; steam and pizza.
• Thorough knowledge of company products, services, policies and procedures.
• Spanish language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shapes the culture of the restaurant and drives team engagement and guest satisfaction.
• Assists with achieving budgeted financial goals including income, sales and costs.
• Assists with interviewing, hiring, training, and developing team members; manages performance.
• Works with team to ensure positive guest experiences and timely guest needs.
• Schedules team members efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Supervises cash management, daily deposits, and financial controls.
• Coordinates events, catering, and store promotions.
• Oversees inventory, purchasing, and receiving per company guidelines.
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness to standard; monitors service quality.
• Supervises repairs/maintenance and addresses safety concerns.
• Provides timely feedback to supervisor on service failures or guest concerns.
• Ensures store setup meets daily business needs across areas (kitchen, prep, staffing).
• Attends required weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc meetings; may delegate tasks with GM/DM approval.
