Job summary

The Teton Group/C&H Holdings Inc. in Utah is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing all restaurant operations, ensuring service quality, food safety, team development, and profitability.

You will supervise shifts, recruit and train hourly staff, manage schedules, monitor costs and inventory, uphold brand standards, and execute the restaurant’s business plan. You will act in the GM’s absence and help maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Supervise and manage restaurant operations during assigned shifts.
• Recruit, train, and develop hourly employees by conducting orientations, providing ongoing coaching, and administering performance reviews.
• Foster a team culture that encourages accountability, respect, and excellence.
• Support cost control initiatives by monitoring and managing product and labor costs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all aspects of restaurant operations during assigned shifts.
• Maintain and enforce high standards for food quality, cleanliness, sanitation, and speed of service.
• Ensure adherence to all PRIDE systems and daily routines.
• Assist in implementing and executing the restaurant's business plan as directed by the General Manager.
• Serve as the acting manager in the absence of the General Manager.
• Communicate key operational or personnel issues to the General Manager in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with team leaders to support smooth shift transitions and consistent execution of restaurant objectives.
• Assist in driving restaurant profitability and sales through operational excellence and effective team leadership.
• Uphold all brand standards, company policies, and health and safety guidelines.
