Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurants seeks a Restaurant Office Administrator to support front and back of house with administrative, financial, and event-related duties. You’ll ensure smooth office operations, accurate financial processes, and exceptional private event coordination in partnership with management and the support center.

The role emphasizes payroll support, onboarding, and maintaining strong team relations while driving hospitality excellence for guests and team members.

Job description

Compensation range for this role is $44,000-$54,000/year + 10% bonus potential.

The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity.

As a Restaurant Office Administrator at Cooper’s Hawk, you’ll play a key role in supporting both the front and back of house through a wide range of administrative, financial, and event-related responsibilities. In partnership with the General Manager and Restaurant Support Center, you’ll ensure smooth office operations, accurate financial processes, and exceptional private event coordination. Your attention to detail and commitment to hospitality will help create a seamless experience for both Team Members and Guests.

  • Support Team Members by answering payroll, benefits, and policy questions while assisting with recruiting and onboarding processes.
  • Assist with screening applications and processing employment paperwork
  • Train and support the Office Assistant to act as a weekend/vacation backup

Master Operator: Focused on efficiency, execution, and process excellence.
  • Maintain accountability for all aspects of private events, including bookings, contracts, BEO accuracy, banquet materials, room setup, payments, and event execution using Tripleseat and Eventbrite.
  • Demonstrate discipline in managing administrative operations, including payroll, vacation requests, invoices, gratuity systems, cash reconciliation, uniform inventory, marketing collateral and employment paperwork.
  • Adapt quickly to changing business needs while maintaining operational excellence
  • Drive disciplined execution through planning, prioritization, and follow-through
  • Ensure compliance by tracking health and safety certifications, maintaining required postings, and partnering with the General Manager and Restaurant Support Center on policies and procedures.
  • Manage daily Wine Club Membership data entry and reservation system support while ensuring accurate administrative records and efficient restaurant operations.
Community Cultivator: Emphasizes connections, team member and guest experience, and brand advocacy.
  • Foster collaboration across restaurant teams and lead with open, respectful communication
  • Partner with the management team to drive operational success
  • Inspire the team to deliver Uncompromising Hospitality in their service standards with a passion for culinary excellence
  • Coordinate with kitchen and management teams to ensure event timelines are met
  • Demonstrate professionalism by conducting post-event follow-ups to ensure Guest satisfaction
  • Retrieve and verify custom event décor and amenities to meet Guest expectations
  • Champion monthly Wine Club events and private dining experiences
  • Lead change with confidence, helping the team adapt while maintaining focus and performance
  • Model professionalism and passion for culinary excellence while celebrating team successes
What You Will Bring

  • A minimum age requirement of 18 years
  • One year of event planning experience required
  • Organized self-starter who anticipates event needs, multi-tasks, discerns work priorities, and meets deadlines with little supervision
  • Acts as a Cooper’s Hawk brand ambassador and trusted liaison with Team Members, managers, vendors, and suppliers
  • Manages competing priorities under strict deadlines, must have problem solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to adapt and lead others in times of change
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with a passion for delivering Uncompromising Hospitality and developing high-performing teams
  • Is results-driven; able to coach team to hit restaurant targets (i.e. Wine Club Community growth) with a strong business acumen and financial decision-making skills
  • Has the ability to read, understand and communicate in English
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Preferred certifications include ServSafe and state/local licensing requirements
  • Must be able to work up to 40 hours per week in a variety of shifts
