Job summary

Makeready seeks a creative Restaurant Marketing Manager in Columbus, OH to lead marketing, programming, partnerships and communications for Chouette, Hanks and Little West Tavern. You will develop strategies to boost guest satisfaction, drive revenue, and strengthen brand consistency, coordinating with property leadership, agency partners and internal marketing teams.

Qualifications

• Restaurant marketing experience (3–5 years).
• Experience with chefs, GMs, BOH/FOH teams.
• Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred.
• Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong social media planning and strategy.
• Basic to intermediate Excel knowledge.
• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video).
• Knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics.
• Working knowledge of Canva, InDesign, Photoshop.
• Experience with Social Media Management Platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing initiatives to promote Columbus restaurants.
• Lead strategies across social media, digital and design functions.
• Create, manage and implement PR and marketing plans to increase revenue and foot traffic.
• Plan promotional campaigns to raise awareness and drive visitation.
• Build CRM and email campaigns to encourage repeat visits.
• Collaborate with restaurant teams to align programming and sales goals.
• Promote events, seasonal menus and unique offerings.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging across channels.
• Develop partnerships with suppliers and brands to reach new audiences.
• Manage email marketing content, segmentation and performance tracking.
• Foster influencer partnerships to boost brand awareness.
• Collaborate with GM, Exec Chef and leadership on marketing strategy.
