What Will You Do?
Job Purpose Statement

To develop, support, and lead the restaurant team. To be accountable for sales growth by maintaining the highest standards in quality, service, and cleanliness with a constant focus on profitability.

Job Functions
  • Interview and hire qualified staff to operate the restaurant based on company standards and in compliance with regulations.
  • Schedule sufficient staff to operate the restaurant and accommodate guest flow. Manage labor costs to meet company standards.
  • Train the management team and crew using current training systems. Evaluate performance at designated intervals. Design development plans for employees.
  • Maintain a cooperative, harmonious working relationship with the management team and crew. Provide coaching, counseling, and discipline as needed. Assist with crew duties as necessary.
  • Conduct crew and management team meetings to discuss operations, promotions, safety, security, and training.
  • Maintain adequate supplies and control inventory to meet food cost standards.
  • Maintain reports and records per company and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of building and equipment.
  • Be responsible for all cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and behavior at all times.
  • Adhere to all HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies to ensure a safe environment.
  • Exhibit behaviors that reflect Boddie-Noell's Vision and Values. Perform other tasks as directed and represent Boddie-Noell Enterprises professionally.
Minimum Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must meet physical demands of the role
  • Ability to lead, recognize, and train talent
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager
  • Good references
  • Availability to work all shifts and weekends
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Strong conflict-resolution skills
  • Organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Effective communication at all organizational levels
  • Ability to balance hands-on work with delegation
